— E-Commerce
The hard part isn't showing two price lists. It's making sure a retail shopper, a wholesale account and someone browsing in euros each see the right number — and pay exactly that at checkout.
— DELIVERY & EVIDENCE
Retail and wholesale customers needed different pricing rules within one store, including consistent currency conversion through checkout. No previous sales or conversion baseline is available for publication.
Project duration: Not recorded in the published case study.

— The story
Tamamabi sells to two audiences with very different rules: retail shoppers who just want to buy, and wholesale accounts with negotiated rates, minimums and quantity breaks. On top of that, customers browse from different countries — so prices had to convert by currency and still be exact at the till. One storefront had to do all of it without feeling like a compromise for either side.
We built a custom theme and information architecture around the dual journey — clean product taxonomy, fast search, and a consistent path from catalogue to checkout. Multi-currency with geolocation switches prices to the visitor's country automatically (still manually overridable), and — crucially — the converted price is the price charged at checkout.
For trade, role-based pricing shows approved accounts their negotiated rates, quantity breaks and minimums, invisible to retail customers. Add performance tuning, image optimisation and a streamlined mobile UX, and both audiences get a store that feels built for them — without either ever seeing the other's prices.
